Moonfly is a Southern word for a firefly — the small, steady light that appears on warm nights when the world finally slows down.

We chose the name because it reflects what we believe coffee should be:
unhurried, human, and quietly meaningful.

Moonfly Coffee is rooted in the South, shaped by community, and built on a desire to slow down — to build something honest, intentional, and shared.
Named for the glow you only notice when you linger, Moonfly exists to create small sparks of light that last.

Moonfly isn’t just coffee—it’s a place to gather. Soon you’ll see Moonfly Outposts on wheels—trailers bringing our roasts and stories to festivals, neighborhoods, and trailsides. And after that, cafés built with the same spirit: warm spaces where coffee, stories, and community glow together. The first sparks are lit—watch for the glow to spread.

Fresh-Roasted to Order

We roast every week so you don’t drink yesterday’s news. On average, 4.3 days pass from roaster to ship date. Paired with hermetic, flavor-locking packaging, that means the cup in your hand tastes like it just left Bend, Oregon—because it basically did.

Small Batch Crafted

All roasting happens in-house in Bend, Oregon—not outsourced, not guessed. Our roast masters run tight profiles for each coffee, dialing time, temperature, and airflow so origin character shows up clean and consistent, bag after bag.

Specialty-Grade Beans (SCA 80+)

Every lot we buy scores 80 points or higher on the Specialty Coffee Association scale—the top tier globally. That means no primary defects, careful sourcing, and the kind of nuance you can actually taste. You’re paying for quality at the farm and integrity all the way to your mug.

Independently Lab-Tested

Taste is table stakes. We also send coffees to third-party labs to screen for mycotoxins, heavy metals, and mold/yeast. Results confirm our lots are clean and safe, so all you taste is the coffee—not contaminants.
